I have accepted it. Shine, she is so good God called her home just so He could enjoy her love and reward her for not only being the bestest kitty, but to remind me He blessed me with her first. We got her from the flea market on US1 in Summer 2006, the infamous box plant days. She was in a box of kittens marked "free" that adorned the corner of a table staffed by a Latino family. We went through the squee selection protocol and culled a Calico from La Familia and brought her home.

She fell asleep so soundly on the ride home that Renee couldn't rouse her upon arrival.

She was a special girl and was dearly loved, and she brought great joy to us all. For some strange reason cats that are talkative seem to enjoy music, and Little had a favorite song...Fooled Around And Fell In Love by Elvin Bishop. I could sing, perform or merely play that song and she always came running, meowing frantically as only Little could.

I sang it to her as I gave her back to Him, as she was just a temporary benefit for our time here and yet another eternal reward that awaits at the door. Little Calico "Stinky Squirrel" Kitty, I can't wait to see you again.
